There is an open house all Saturdays at Síđumúli 17 between 13:00 to 16:00. Collectors meet and chat about things connected to Icelandic philately, and to trade stamps.

The club's name is "Félag Frímerkjasafnara" which would translate something like Stamp Collectors Club. It was founded 11th June 1957. The first meeting was held at Tjarnarcafé at Vonarstrćti 10 and the number of founders was 35. To day there are a little more then 200 members, mostly from Iceland but also a few from abroad. The main aim of the club is to create interested in collecting and to give members oportunity to trade stamps and to share their interest with other collectors. To make this possible the Stamp Collectors Club has open house every week (on Saturdays) and monthly seminars during the  winter time. Other activeties are exhibitions, auctions and issuing firstday covers and christmas labels, to mention just a few.
